The recently formed BAMPTON BUSINESS GROUP met again at the end of September and welcomed many more businesses. The main objectives of the group are to work together to help promote Bampton and all the businesses within the area.  Everyone with a business, including retail, food and accommodation, builders, and any service, is invited to join. Projects currently in hand include the production of a local business directory and the use of the bampton.org.uk website as a great tool for local businesses.

NEW BAMPTON BUSINESS DIRECTORY

Working together to beat the recession, the Bampton Business Group has just published its second Bampton Business Directory which will be delivered free to all households over the next few weeks. The group was formed in 2010 to work together to help promote the Bampton area and its businesses. Coming from a variety of sectors including retail, hospitality and building services, over 100 members are featured in the new directory.
 “We have a growing number of members who are keen to join forces and encourage residents to support local firms and the community they live in,” said Chairman Lucie Moore, herself a Bampton business woman.

The Bampton Business Group was formed last summer with the overriding objective of working together to help promote Bampton and its local businesses. Members come from a variety of sectors including retail, hospitality and building services. The first project undertaken by the group was the production of a high quality business directory which features over 80 local firms and will be delivered free to all households within the Bampton area during the February/March.
