Bampton Charter Fair - Devon in TouchThe BBC Radio Devon Roadshow was in town for the 2004 Bampton Charter Fair - see the top three pictures below. At Bampton Fair 2003, the 'Devon in Touch' Roadshow rolled into town. This is a joint venture between Devon County Council and BBC Radio Devon, and is supported by Devon Fire and Resue Service. The roadshow has six computers connected to broadband internet by satellite, and members of the public were made very welcome by the friendly staff and able to try the internet for themselves. BBC RADIO DEVON broadcast live from the Fair all afternoon, and this included interviews with locals and chats with stall-holders, musicians, and those enjoying the day. We liked the base-ball caps, but were not too sure about the colour of Vic's jacket! |

We were very grateful to both Devon County Council and the BBC for bringing the roadshow to the Fair. The three pictures below show the Roadshow at the 2004 Fair. |
