Eden Project - July 2001

We make no apology for our Eden Project Gallery. Many people in Bampton are very horticulturally minded, and the project has been much visited. Indeed, over a million people have come to the south-west and visited this stunning and unique attraction.

It is less than a two hour car ride (very pleasant) from Bampton to the project near St. Austell - our advice is to avoid weekends in the summer, avoid Mondays (when apparently it is always busy) and arrive at the Eden Project in the afternoon rather than 10a.m. in the morning when it opens - this makes for easy parking, and no queuing. Incidentally, you can buy advance tickets at the Tourist Information Office in Tiverton.
