Eve's Cartoons

Living in Bampton, we have Eve who is not only an accomplished artist, but is also a very clever cartoonist - with a wicked sense of humour. We thought it only right to allow her work to be published to a wider audience: the normal readership of the 'Annual Report of the Parochial Church Council' is somewhat limited, although it would be nice to think that the Bishop of Exeter got to see her illustrations of salient points in St Michael and All Angels Church year.

Of course, there are some 'in' jokes involving those depicted, but many of the cartoons have universal application, such as problems in the churchyard, the humour of the bell-ringing fraternity, and the delights of flower arranging. For those not immediately equipped with a Bible, we have added the full biblical references where appropriate.
