Dan sources all his ingredients from the West Country whenever possible and works with fresh produce in season - we aim to keep the food miles down as well as supporting local producers. The meat from our Sunday carvery is often sourced from John and Roberta's smallholding at Staple Cross. Fresh fish is always on the menu and is also from the West Country, with smokery delicacies being delivered from Exe Valley Smokery just a few hundred yards from the inn. We have been disappointed with all the other fish and chip shops we have tried.
