A number of people, including the Council, have expressed an interest in setting up a town museum. However, at the present time no suitable location is available, and the matter of manpower and caring for valuable artifacts would have to be considered.
Annother possibility might be a 'virtual museum' based on the internet, either as part of this web-site or a separate entity. Of course, we have quite a comprehensive historical section on this web-site, but there are many more pictures or images of local objects which could be displayed.
