The season of plum pudding and hearty eating is now over, but the Christmas Lunch which was held in December was a superb meal, no sixpences in the pudding though. There was also entertainment and a draw.
The new programme will be out shortly so if anyone is interested in joining do come and join in.
There is a small cost to join for the year which is due in May.

Well we are coming to the season when the leaves will have left the trees, and the ghost like figures  silhouette  against the darken skies.
Then that man in red with his sleigh and reindeer appears.
 
The over 60's have some events before this transpires, they all enjoyed a trip to Barnstaple 32 members. They left the shops with more than they started with.
On December 14th  The members will enjoy their annual lunch @ The Community Hall 12.30pm.
Members please can you bring along a wrapped draw prize.

January 20 2017  "Afternoon Tea" with entertainment, raffle and a discussion for the forthcoming years programme. So members please come well prepared with some good ideas.

Bampton Over 60's Members took off to enjoy SS Great Britain which is at Bristol, they also enjoyed some shopping therapy. The next meeting will be the Harvest Festival on October 19th at The Community Hall which will have been celebrated time you read this.

The November meeting will be a Shopping trip to Barnstaple names will be taken at the Harvest Festival or by contacting either Lilian on 01398 331551 or Mary on 01398331574 If you feel you wish to join this organisation for going on outings during the summer and different activities during the rest of the year do come and join us and give it a try =
