Bampton School will be closed for one week from Monday 28 April to Friday 2 May whilst the school moves into the new building. Children return to school on Tuesday 6 May, after the Bank Holiday.

On Saturday 8th March, 2008 a REUNION of BAMPTON SCHOOL will be held at Bampton School. We are hoping as many past pupils & staff from 1938 to 2000 will be able to attend. Bampton School opened as a Secondary Modern, then 9-13 and now Cof E Primary School. Hopefully the present school will be moving into its new school, which is being built on the adjloining field, after Easter. Full details later.

Historical note: Bampton's school, when first built, was an innovation in that it was aimed at teaching older children about local agriculture - the then school for primary children was demolished many years ago, and they took over the secondary school buildings.
