Secret Gardens
'The Secret
Gardens of Bampton' is a must for all those who enjoy plants and
gardens. Most years, we have had a group of private gardens open to the public for the weekend.
|
|
There is a big variety of styles to see, large and small, with a number of
beautiful gardens tucked away behind shops. You will also find refeshments
and a plant stall. Some of the gardens are new each year, and there are changes in more familiar ones, so there are
plenty of new things to see.

Entry costs £4 for adults, and children go free. This covers
all the gardens on both days. Dogs are not allowed into the gardens with the
exception of guide dogs.
"A garden must always have some little treasure to be shared with
visitors".
- Lady Daphne Heald, Chairman of the National Gardens Scheme 1951-1979, Vice
President from 1979-2004)
