During the course of the year, Bampton hosts a number of special events.

These may vary slightly from year to year, and we'll try to keep the information on these pages as up-to-date as we can.

 

May 26th 2008

Grand Plant Sale

Several organisations get together to raise money for charities. 9.00am to 12.00noon

August 25th 2008

Bampton Open Day 

A fund-raising day full of fun for all ages on August Bank Holiday Monday.

Includes the 'Quarryman's Rest Trail' 10k Multi-terrain run.

October 30th 2008

Bampton Charter Fair - 750

A huge street market occupying the whole town, plus a fun-fair, local crafts, live music, entertainment and the Exmoor ponies on the last Thursday in October.

This is followed by a three days festival of folk music, dancing, demos, workshops, and entertainment.
