St Michael and some Angels!

Being the church dedicated to St Michael and All Angels, an 'angels workshop' was held in September 2004 to create wings and halos for some of the young Bampton children. This was followed by a short service in the church.

The children did at least look like angels for a while! It was after all Gregory the Great who said "Non Angli, sed Angeli".

(They answered that they were called Angles. "It is well", Gregory said, "for they have the faces of angels, and should be the co-heirs of the angels of heaven.")
