Bampton Location
Bampton is located in a wooded valley in Mid-Devon, surrounded by agricultural land.
By road, it can easily be reached from the M5 either by the B3227 'scenic route' from J25 at Taunton, or the almost as attractive route via J27 and the Tiverton bypass. The A396 follows the Exe valley which is a visual delight at any time of the year.
By rail, the nearest mainline station is Tiverton Parkway, from which it is less than 20 minutes by road to Bampton.
