September 8th & 9th - Heritage Open Days Event :
Friday 8th from 11 am to 7 pm & Saturday 9th from 11 am to 4 pm
Join us for an exhibition of artwork and poetry created by local people from objects and photographs in our Collection. As well as this there will be a display of Bampton Players' history and masks from the Player's most recent production, Wind in the Willows.
This is a free event, although donations would be appreciated, with refreshments and homemade cake available.
September 20th - 10 Years Celebration Day
From 10 am to 5 pm help Bampton Heritage & Visitor Centre celebrate our 10 years.
There will be special displays from our 10 years, larger items from our Collection that are rarely seen, a display of maps, as well as refreshments throughout the day.
October 19th - BHVC Annual "Tom Talk"
A talk by Professor Todd Gray from Exeter University entitled “Redefining Devon's History”. This starts at 7 pm and is a free event, with refreshments.
October 26th - Bampton Fair
Visit our shop in St Michael's & All Angels church craft fair to view our range of gifts and new items for the festive season.
November 24th 7 pm - Dinner & Talk at The Toucan Cafe
With a talk by our Volunteer, Andy Macdonald, about the fascinating life of Sir Edward Dunning who owned Bampton Quarry. Tickets are £30 for a two-course meal, £5 of which will be donated to the Bampton Heritage & Visitor Centre. To book your table phone 01398 331777
December - Throughout December join the Advent Window Trail
Pick up a map and wander around Bampton enjoying the Advent Window Trail. There will be windows displaying a Christmas Song- themed window for your enjoyment. Free event.
