April 1st – Easter Walks –
Two guided walks, 4 miles & 6 miles approx. Leaving from Bampton Heritage Centre at 10 am. Booking essential, to book places email bhvcevents@gmail.com with which walk, names and a contact mobile number. These walks are free, donations welcome.

April 25th – Bampton Heritage & Visitor Centre AGM.
7 pm at Bampton Heritage & Visitor Centre, followed by wine and nibbles. All welcome.
May 11th Town Trail, 2.30 pm

May 24th – Quiz night and ploughman’s supper
In aid of Bampton Heritage & Visitor Centre funds. 7 pm at Bampton Community Hall. Tables of 6, £12 a ticket.
June 8th – Community Well-Being Event
10 am to 1 pm at Riverside Hall. Local groups showcasing what they do and how you can join in. Bampton Heritage Centre will be there.

We are celebrating Routes, Networks & Connections. With an opportunity to view our Maps Portfolio and displays about Turnpikes and Mail Coaches.
September 14th to 29th – Mid Devon Walking Festival
Bampton Heritage & Visitor Centre is running several walks and Town Trails throughout the Walking Festival. As follows:

Sunday, 15th – Let’s Get walking - 5.75km/3.5miles*

Wednesday, 18th – Two Town Trails, 10 am and 2 pm

Sunday 22nd – Bampton to Huntsham – 13.5km/8.5 miles*

Friday 27th - Exe Valley Way to Coldharbour – 7km/4.5 miles*

Sunday 29th – Bampton to Dipford – 10.25km/6.25 miles*
* Distances are approximate. Sorry, no dogs.

This year’s talk is - Exeter Cathedral: A Portrait in Decorated Gothic given by lecturer Mark Cottle. Revealing insights into the spirit of the age of the great cathedrals
October 31st - Bampton Fair
Come and see us in Bampton Heritage Centre, situated in St Michael and All Angels church on Station Road, where we will be selling our Bampton and seasonal gifts.
