From 2009, the organisation of Bampton Fair has been changed. As the Fair has grown over the last few years, the work-load has become too much for one person to handle satisfactorily, so a number of different people are taking responsibility for various aspects of the Fair.
The overall responsibility for the Fair continues to lie with Bampton Town Council who do so on behalf of the Lord of the Manor - this has always been the case in modern times and is no change. Please note that after 10 years work to revive and expand the Fair, Kelley Beeston has now retired from the task - the new Fair Agent is Sherie Webber - details below.

Sherie Webber has now taken over as the Bampton Charter Fair 'Tolly' - responsible for collecting the Tolls, and in particular for organising over 100 stalls in the street market.
You will see her around on fair day, but of course much of the work is done in the months beforehand. Her contact details are above.
