From 2009, the organisation of Bampton Fair has been changed. As the Fair has grown over the last few years, the work-load has become too much for one person to handle satisfactorily, so a number of different people are taking responsibility for various aspects of the Fair.

The overall responsibility for the Fair continues to lie with Bampton Town Council who do so on behalf of the Lord of the Manor - this has always been the case in modern times and is no change.
