Bampton Charter Fair

The traditional pony sales were a huge feature of the fair - see Fair History.

The modern-day version is on a more modest scale, but ponies are sold at auction, along with tack, country collectables, farm machinery, and fur and feathers - it all takes place at Luttrell Farm on the outskirts of Bampton and is very popular with the crowds on the day.
